  Known worldwide as the City of Lights, Paris is one of the most romantic destinations in the world.
  Paris features more than 150 art galleries and museums, and famous attractions like:
  • Eiffel Tower
  • Arc de Triomphe
  • Notre-Dame Cathedral (Cathédrale de Notre-Dame)
  • Champs Elysées • Louvre (le Musée du Louvre)
  • Musée d'Orsay

  If a person is visiting for the first time then there are certain options that are to be laid down.
  As different people have different opinion as to when visit the Paris because some like hot summers, some prefer chilly winters and some like the crowd as Paris is busiest from around 15th march to 15th July and from 1st September to 15th November. The other times its low season means low prices of air fares, hotels, shopping etc.
  I preferred the time from 4th December to 13th December as I wanted to avoid the summer season and all the rush while the holiday season was on.
  A Roundtrip from Delhi to Paris costs up to Rs. 36,552 per person and for a trip of 2 it costs up to Rs.73,104 with Gulf air with stay at Manama; it is by far the cheapest among other airlines.

Paris metro provides the view that the whole city is interconnected and stop between adjacent stops are 15 mins apart. Planned vacation can reduce alot of chaos so following is the day’s wise schedule

Day 1
Morning: wake early and board the train and follow Historic Paris Walk, featuring Ile de la Cité, Notre-Dame, Latin Quarter, and Sainte-Chapelle. After that for medieval art I’ll visit the Cluny Museum.
Afternoon: Tour the Opéra and end your day enjoying the glorious rooftop view at Galleries Lafayette department store. After that do some shopping.
Evening: Cruise the Seine River.

Day 2
Morning: Tour the Louvre. Have lunch or coffee at Café le Nemours.
Afternoon: then Champs-Elysées Walk from the Arc de Triomphe downhill along the incomparable avenue de Champs-Elysées to the Tuileries Garden and possibly the Orangerie Museum.
Evening: Enjoy dinner on Ile St. Louis, then a floodlit walk by Notre-Dame.

Day 3
Morning: Tour the Orsay Museum
Midday: Tour the Rodin Museum (café lunch in its gardens).
Afternoon: Visit Napoleon's Tomb, then take the book's Rue Cler Walk and relax at Café du Marché.
Evening: Take the book's Montmartre Walk, featuring the Sacré-Cœur basilica.

Day 4
Morning: Catch the RER suburban train by 8:00 to arrive early at Versailles (before it opens at 9:00). Tour the palace's interior.
Midday: Have lunch in the Gardens at Versailles.
Afternoon: Spend the afternoon touring the Gardens and the Domaine de Marie-Antoinette.
Evening: Have dinner in Versailles town or return to Paris. For dessert, follow by Floodlit Paris Taxi Tour.

Day 5
Morning: Follow the Marais Walk from Rick's Paris guidebook and tour the Carnavalet Museum. Lunch at a restaurant on the place des Vosges or on rue des Rosiers.
Afternoon: Tour the Pompidou Center and the Jewish Art and History Museum.
Evening: Enjoy the Trocadéro scene and a twilight ride up the Eiffel Tower.

Day 6
Morning: Take an Impressionist escape to Giverny or Auvers-sur-Oise.
Afternoon: it is followed by Left Bank Walk (featuring art galleries, boutiques, and grand boulevards), mix in some shopping, then relax in the Luxembourg Garden or at a nearby café.
Evening: Join the parade along the Champs-Elysées. Hiking to the top of the Arc de Triomphe yet, considering doing it by twilight.

Days 7
Morning: trip to Disneyland Paris.
Evening: return to hotel, pack the stuff and prepare for the return flight to Delhi.

The whole budget comes to around Rs.3 lakhs

To buy that perfume for your dear one you just need to step out of your hotel as perfumes are easily available and they even provide duty - free perfumes which are delivered to the airport on the day of your departure.
